Welcome to HillBilly's Katahdins

Welcome....

Our Katahdin Website is Live

This is our first Katahdin blog post, and it will be short as I still have to make some improvements to the look of the website.

Why HBKatahdins.com?

Our farm is HillBilly's Katahdins and we thought about purchasing the domain HillBillysKatahdins.com.  However, we realized that would be a lot of typing for you to get to our website.  We wanted to make it easier, so we decided to abbreviate HillBilly's (HB) and we choose HBKatahdins.com.  Our Katahdin Hair Sheep International (KHSI) farm prefix is HBK, so we hope our website's domain name we will be easy to remember.

Northeast Florida Katahdins

We have a flock of pure-blooded Katahdins in Jacksonville.  We have registered rams, ewes, ram lambs and ewe lambs, as well as 50% and 75% recorded lambs and ewes, and pure-blooded commercial (not registered) ewes.  The pick of this year's Katahdin ewe lamb crop will be registered with KHSI.  Our Katahdin ram lambs will be registered at buyer's request. Half of our flock has been tested negative for OPP and Johne's, the remaining adult flock will be tested in 2018.

Photos and Videos

We will periodically post Katahdin photos and videos.

Thank you for visiting and please check back for updates.
